3 days in a row i found myself in a very delightful old coffee shop - jazz music, artsy deco, and reasonable with the prices.
menu was extremely extensive - fancy drinks you can tell they were really well thought of (credits for the effort and creativity)
i like to think of myself as a coffee person. i've always enjoyed coffee, whether in starbucks or just at home, or even at an old coffee shop in ipoh. it's always a pleasure. and with company, even better.
but i never really thought local coffee was going to be something special, so i never paid much attention to it previously.
they get the beans harvested/processed from the 13 different states and all have different flavours - like some are white, and some are black, some are sweeter, or thicker or stronger. kopi o is with sugar added, otherwise you can get it with condensed milk. or even 2 flavours put together. i had a sweet mix of perak and perlis, which is like white coffee but not quite, but quite nice. and then i had johore and melaka mix which was quite strong and thick. not bad.
quite worth it too. single coffee flavours from between rm3-4 and double flavours between rm5-6. with the ambience and the wifi that comes along i'd say it's a pretty decent deal.
and local coffee is really quite good.
anyway, make a trip some time, and we will have a good kopi session i guarantee.
Wow, the place looks pretty cool!
